Social Perceptions is an information site of one person explaining her personal journey of self in order to align her true self with her social perception of who she truly is, not who she wants to be.
Perceptions are formed as you experience life. Interpetations of situations, behavior, actions, and personal appearances of those around you form your perceptions. This is how generalized categorization of people, groups, races, gender, ages, hair color, etc. are created. Perceptions are also individualized by your personal expeiences and emotional imprints, emotions attached to memories.
The first step to balancing who you are with who you portray to be is to discover your self. To define in your own spirit, mind and heart who you are. Mj is traveling this path as you read this and you can observe her travels by going to the How Do I (HDI) articles page and clicking on a link to a question you may have. HDI is Mj's personal journey, but maybe her journey will light a path for yours.
Social Perceptions can be viewed as a self-improvement site as well as self validation site. Many of us are struggling with the questions of "Who am I?" and "What is my purpose?"
We are all individuals and can learn from one another if we keep our minds open.
